A Little Idea That Grew Into Something Sweet
Two kids, one sunny San Diego summer, and a whole lot of cookies.
How It All Started
It all started on a warm San Diego summer when our daughter Amélie and son Indiana had a big idea: bake cookies and sell them to raise money for investing and fun summer activities. They mixed up their first batches, set up shop, and waited.
The response was incredible. Neighbors, friends, and families couldn't get enough. Word spread fast, and demand quickly outpaced what two kids could handle alone — so Mom jumped in, and then Dad too, helping them scale up production while keeping every cookie homemade and made with love.
As the operation grew, the kids got to try new flavors they'd always wanted to bake. Every new cookie on the menu is one that Amélie or Indiana dreamed up and taste-tested themselves.
A True Family Business
Today, Lyons Cub Cookies is a full family operation. During the summer, Amélie and Indiana run the show — baking, packaging, and taking orders with the energy only kids can bring to something they truly love.
When school starts back up, Mom and Dad step in more to keep the cookie magic going. But no matter the season, every batch is still made completely from scratch by the Lyons family, right here in sunny San Diego — no mixes, no shortcuts, just real ingredients and homemade love. 🌊☀️
